PARKING AND VEHICLE ACCESS:

The very central location of The Loft means you are not able to park at the apartment. There are many car parks where overnight parking is available.

The Loft Apartment is located within a pedestrian zone where "Foot-street hours" operate for loading and unloading. You are free to drive into the centre and park outside to load and unload before 10.30am and after 5pm every day.
Due to the one-way system vehicles should approach down Parliament Street, turn right into High Ousegate (before the church), at the end turn right into Spurriergate and then first right into Market Street. You can park up on the right hand side of Market Street to unload or, if you like, drive (perhaps better to reverse) down Peter Lane itself. You will see this is quite narrow.

A car is not necessary while staying in York as it is a small city and you are in the centre.
